One of the things that has become increasingly more crucial in my work with clients, is to help them refocus their mindset. It’s so easy to get lost in the details of your work and what needs to get done, but without a focus on what you are doing and why you are doing it – you will not be able to really thrive in your business or even in your personal life.

Often I will be listening to a client talk about her biggest frustrations and how she feels held back.

I hear her worries.

I feel that sense of uncertainty, and even though I know she can achieve all of her goals, and even though I know her business is a great model and she is extremely gifted – I won’t be able to help her see everything that is right at her fingertips if I can’t help her to refocus her mindset.

When we operate from a “lack mentality” and a fear of not having enough or being enough, we are unconsciously manifesting lack or nothingness into our lives.

When our thoughts are aligned with the intent and focus of our business and what we want to be, what we want our lives to be, and who we personally want to be – then we are able to align our actions with that and manifest all of it into existence and more. We unknowingly attract the things that we allow our minds to dwell on the most.

In our work it is important to not only take the time to focus on being traditionally “productive”- researching and educating, keeping up with the “competition”, marketing, building relationships, engagement on social media… you get the picture… but it is also important to take some time to just sit and realign our thoughts with what we are trying to accomplish.

WHERE DO YOU BEGIN?

I encourage everyone who works with or for me to put these things into practice and make them part of your daily routine.

  • Meditate
  • Journal
  • Breathwork

MEDITATION:

Taking time to focus on yourself is beneficial to your overall well-being. By setting aside some time to meditate daily, you are increasing your self-awareness and focusing on what your body and mind need.

JOURNALING:

Keeping a journal and writing down your thoughts and ideas is one of the most powerful tools any successful business owner can do. A journal gets those great ideas, the long list of to-dos, your wishes, and desires out of the

back of your head.

BREATHWORK:

The breath is always with you. When you practice breathing you gain a skill you can use whenever you need to quiet and clear the mind. Just following a few breaths—in and out, in and out—can relax the mind and body so you can calmly observe and respond to the world around you, rather than mindlessly reacting to events.

The very nature of my business as a coach is to ensure that your business and your life are thriving because if it’s not then by default mine is not either.

Set aside time and make it a ritual for you to just sit and be with your thoughts, to take some deep cleansing breaths and think about why you do what you do.

  • What do you want to come of your business?
  • Are your actions a reflection of your fears or your desires?
  • Are you operating from a place of trust in the universe and a belief in abundance in your own life?

Mindset is the key to ensuring that you will achieve growth and prosperity in your business.
