London will forever be one of my favorite cities in the world. There is so much to do, see and eat! Did I mention there was a lot to eat?

Also, little fun fact, I use to live in London! I completed a Masters in London and lived there for a year in 2013.- Oh! The stories. (that’s for another blog post)

It’s a city like no other – every part of London is different. One of my all-time favorite neighborhoods is Marylebone where one of my favorite hotels is located: The Mandeville Hotel.

The Hotel

My favorite part about the Manderville are the beds. Yup! I judge hotels by the quality of the bed because that is mostly the only time I stay inside (when I am sleeping). This is my theory, you typically book a hotel on vacation. Which means that most of your time in the room is spent showering, getting ready to go out or sleeping. I say more time sleeping, assuming you sleep a normal 6-8 hours. So I review a hotel by the quality of the mattresses, the comfy pillows and how soft the duvet covers are! And for that reason, the Manderville Gets 5 stars! Their pillow game is on point too! – you can pick how soft. 😉

The rooms are cozy and beautifully designed to make you feel as though you’re staying in a palace. Except that the cool thing about this Hotel is that you won’t stay in the same room twice. All the hotel rooms are designed theme. Every season they get completely re-decored. The current theme is French Riveria Themed Rooms.

Food & Drinks

My second favorite thing about the Mandeville is breakfast! OH MY LORD. I would happily go there every morning for breakfast if I lived in London. I mean I would take bus, train or find a nice cab driver to drive me all the way from where I am living to the hotel to get it’s incredible breakfast. It’s delicious! They serve a continental buffet-style breakfast that goes completely above and beyond the norm. You’ve got everything from eggs benedict, bacon, fresh fruits, sausage to even vegan sausage!- I am telling you, endless goodies!

Thirdly, the cocktails. After a hard day at the office, who wouldn’t enjoy a cocktail. Get this though, you don’t have to stay at the Mandeville to enjoy a cocktail. You can always pop in and just enjoy the amazingness that they serve at the bar The staff is so so friendly and they make you feel like you’re the Queen of England.

The Location

Lastly, the neighborhood is what makes The Mandeville hotel the best for staying. It’s located in the center of London. Easy access to trains. Near Covent Garden (great area for shopping and the nightly bar scene), Mayfair (the boujiest part of London. – Best 5-Start restaurants and hottest nightclubs). It’s also minutes from Paddington and St. Regents Park! The Mandeville Hotel is right where you want to be! It is always incredible seeing the amazing sights and watching people go by living their daily lives. Oh! I also almost forgot, its about walking distance from Oxford Cirus. This is where the Theaters and the best shops in London are located! (The Time Square of London)
Having lived in London, I know a lot about the different neighborhoods and what to do there. But if don’t know where to start, you can always work with one of ViaHero’s trip planners—they are locals in London, and they can help build an itinerary from a local perspective.

If you’re looking for the perfect stay at a beautiful hotel I recommend The Mandeville Hotel. It literally has everything you need!
